I recently attended a funeral in the southern US. It's about the third one I've been to. I've noticed a disgusting trend with how the baptists lay the dead to rest. About mid way into the funeral the preacher turns the event into a recruitment session.

I've added another corporation that I'll never give a dollar. The award goes to AT&T with their deceptive letter that looks like an IRS W2 form or some such other government letter. You know the kind. They are a pain in the ass to open because you have to carefully rip each edge to break the seal.

Because there is no AT&T logo or other marketing on the envelope you feel compelled to open it because you know, "What if this were some important government paperwork?"

If you go to Myrtle Beach often enough you're bound to get wrangled into a timeshare seminar with the promise of free gifts like gift-cards, free shows and travel.

We've been accosted by these people on every vacation and we usually refuse. There are plenty of them on the main Myrtle Beach strip where the arcades, tee-shirt shops and hot dog stands are.

Since I have been diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), the simplest of noises drive me berserk. Lately it's been the in-store TV network at Wal-Mart. Every corner you turn in the food section is greeted by a TV panel with blaring actors ranting on about their runny noses, foot warts and holiday picnics. It's an absolute assault on sanity.

Social networks like Digg.com, Twitter and FaceBook sprung up in the twenty-first century and most people thought this was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Most sites started out small and built up a huge user base who could yap till their heart was content.

(I took this post down, thinking it was too rash. I counted to ten like a good boy, did some research, then decided to put it back up. I even found someone who basically had the same exact type of post.)

The religious right still thinks it's necessary to control wine sales on Sunday morning. This throws me into a angry tantrum.

In case you didn't notice, sometime between the 70's and now, our good manufacturing jobs went to Asia.

Now, if you live in most of small to medium town America, there are 3-4 top segments to get a job in. Check the classifieds and you'll see jobs for health care and education which can be respectable. Then you move on the the lousy jobs of sales, retail and hospitality. I call them lousy because I've worked them much of my life. I've worked at grocery stores, restaurants and hardware stores to name a few. After a year, I was often burnt out.

Usually I don't double post, but I'm so furious at Linksys, that I have to get as many links flying around as possible.

I have the lemon piece of crap WRT310N which I paid over $100 bucks for. If you are one of the many owners that are experiencing dropped connectons and overheating issues, ride on over to Central 183 where I have written more on my experience.

My only satisfaction is getting the word out about a company that's gone down hill.

Recently I hooked up my StumbleUpon account to the new FriendFeed service which aggregates all your social networking activity. Just for fun I subscribed to my own FriendFeed to see what types of things came in. What a surprise this morning when I began reading my feeds by Google reader and found all kinds of spam porn links coming from my StumbleUpon account.
