Mafia! is one of the best spoof movies from the past. I Love just about all Jay Mohr's characters. Now we have garbage like "Date Movie" where the jokes are lame and the timing is way off.
I think big screen TV's and DVD players are what ruined movies. You buy all that crap and you feel obligated to buy a film once a week. Before home theaters, we only bought movies that were really good. This forced Hollywood to find fresh scripts instead of regurgitating garbage in the form of a sequel.
